Back in late March, we got to participate in a rare event that landed in Arizona – The Design Edge Phoenix Show. This 48 hour event had us jogging at a steady pace for the weeks prior to kickoff. Then during the two day whirlwind we met and connected with hundreds of designers, specifiers and firm owners.Design Edge Phoenix featuring Hancock & Moore - Photo by BDlRepGroup.com

The space we were in featured furniture from our lines Maitland Smith, Jessica Charles, and Hancock & Moore. Lighting, accessories and designer bags were provided by Patricia Egloff at Regina Andrew in Detroit, Michigan. What a beautiful line this is. They really blew my socks off when I took a tour at Highpoint market!

The area rug in the space was brought to us by Raj Choudry at AMER rugs in Atlanta, Georgia. He was kind enough to loan us this beautiful rug from his 8X10 show pile.

Here in this pic we have Mary Marsh and Regina Kheir of Lillian James Design in Scottsdale, giving their feet a three minute rest before venturing over to see Material Works fabrics. Design Edge Phoenix featuring Lillian James Design - Photo by BDLRepGroup.com

Taylor Walters, the director of this totally awesome line of performance fabrics, flew in and setup shop for the Design Edge show and was kind enough to share and educate the designers who took the time to attend. She is one of the best people I’ve ever worked with in the industry and has a drive and passion like few others in this crazy business. So there you have it, my recap of the Design Edge Phoenix show. Special thanks to Lee Hirschberg and Kelly McCarthy for creating and producing the event, and John Pigg for opening the door and making the trek.
