What can I say but it’s been a whirlwind here as we get back home and out on the road. October High Point market in North Carolina was very busy for us as there are now three showrooms, with one for each brand. Hancock & Moore is located on the 3rd floor of the Steele Bldg.
Maitland Smith and Jessica Charles are situated on the first floor with Jessica right next to Kravet. There was no problem getting our daily steps in at the Hancock showroom. Adding in the showrooms downstairs actually worked out pretty good. Although by 6pm we were ready to chill and get off our feet.
Hancock’s in house designer, Corey Dyson launched some great new pieces in vintage burnished leathers. One of the coolest chairs shown was the 6941-S Cottagers swivel chair. He also premiered a rustic 105” long sofa called the Suncrest that did quite well. Add all the new leathers and fabrics to the mix of new frames and there’s something for most projects out there right now.
At Maitland Smith there were 100 new furniture and accessory introductions. I have to say that so many of the pieces are just stunning, but you’ll have to decide for yourself. Stay tuned in here and on IG @BDlRepGroup as we’ll be sharing photos and videos in the coming weeks and months.
As far as Jessica Charles goes, it was quite the re-launch with the new 1st floor showroom and over 30 new frames. Swivel chairs, barstools, ottomans, benches(like the Dana Bench shown here),dining chairs and a variety of accent chairs were spread throughout the showrooms. And we even made it to the JC factory for two separate private tours.
If you didn’t make it to October Highpoint market and want the scoop, feel free to reach out and we’ll connect with you live or via Zoom.
